ABOUT ME

Within my private practice I offer therapy services, consultation and training specifically for those adoptees, their families and other providers working with this population. Areas of focus are attachment, complexities of international and domestic adoption and foster care, dissociation through the lifespan, identity, neurobiology and complex trauma.

I am a trauma therapist and incorporate evidence based practices including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), Progressive Counting, Safe and Sound Protocol, Brainspotting, IFS (internal family systems)/Ego states/parts work and various play therapy modalities into my work with individuals and families. I am a registered play therapist supervisor through the Association for Play Therapy.
